Qualsys has today released a new version of
its EQMS suite. The latest release
incorporates significant enhancements to
feedback functionality that allows users to
comment on any document held in the system.
The enhancements allow administrators to
determine the rules for handling feedback
for any type of document held in the system.
For certain documents the document owner is
forced to respond to comments by users
within a set timescale.
Non-conformance with feedback rules is
flagged to management. Rules can be
less stringent for non-critical content.
In
addition the administrator can specify which
types of document need full traceability on
all associated feedback messages and any
associated action. The administrator
can also determine who has permission to
access the feedback log.
This allows
customers to hold a full log of all feedback submitted
against a document. Effectively this means a
comprehensive 'discussion thread' exists for each document
that is easily accessible and extremely useful when the
document needs review.
Commenting on the enhancement, Mike Pound, Qualsys Limited's
Managing Director said, "This functionality will inevitably
contribute to the improvement of content held in EQMS
systems. Many of our customers will appreciate the
ability to collate and access comments about content with a
single click. So often useful feedback that could
improve content is lost or difficult to find. This is
no longer the case."
Robert Oakley, Commercial Director at Qualsys said,
"Our customers in the Health Sector will also appreciate the
comprehensive traceability that EQMS provides for recording
feedback. This will help many organisations protect
themselves against claims of negligence or poor standards of
governance." |
