BT's
international solutions business,
BT Global Services
has been using EQMS software since early 2000 to
enhance customer communications by sharing
information with its customers at every stage of
contract negotiation over an extranet.
Discrete
EQMS systems were initially provided to 50 of BT's
largest accounts. EQMS systems are now
delivered to teams running BT relationships with the
likes of Jacobs, Unilever, Reuters, Bristol-Myers
Squibb, Microsoft and Airbus through a secure portal
platform called SolutionsView. Such has been the
success of the software in enhancing client
relationships that BT are now planning to extend the
solution to every major corporate account.
Tariq
Bajwa, Extranet Development Manager at BT Global
Services, points out: "We are constantly looking for
new ways to keep customers informed. A key factor
with EQMS is that it enables customers to see vital
information about their contract negotiation
documentation a glance. Because it's web-based, any
of our customers can use the software without
complex integration issues. It has the same feel as
Windows Explorer and can be used following a few
basic instructions: in most cases, little or no
training has been needed." |
