2Care
was founded in 1929 as the SOS
Society to provide shelter for the
homeless during the great
Depression. The organisation is now
a registered charity, providing high
quality, specialist, support and
care for adults who have experienced
mental illness and specialist,
person-centred care for older people
with high mental and physical
support needs. The organisation
operates services nationwide.
2Care's
Quality Management system meets the requirements of
ISO 9001/2000 and the company has used EQMS to
standardise its quality procedures and processes and
improve communication across all locations since
2005. Jason Little, Quality Development Manager
wanted more, "EQMS has been a huge help as it
updates and distributes vital information
instantaneously. Our staff know where to find the
right document or form. Qualsys suggested that
we streamline administration across our distributed
sites by turning our business forms into dynamic web
forms managed in EQMS and we found the concept very
attractive."
Last year
Qualsys built a pilot series of forms for 2Care that
proved an instant hit. Performance reporting
from each of 2Cares centres is compiled
electronically using 'Active Forms' and provides
management with an online overview. 2Care has
now commissioned a range of forms to manage various
business processes including training and staff
appraisals.
