NHS User Group to drive EQMS development strategy

Qualsys has invited all its UK-based National Health Service (NHS) users to its 3rd Annual NHS User Group meeting.  The meeting takes place on Wednesday 21st May at Qualsys UK Headquarters in Sheffield, England.

The meeting provides a forum for discussion by Quality Professionals in the UK health service.  The Agenda is driven by the attendees and this year's hot topics include process auditing and the structuring and creation of flexible metadata.

Mike Bendall, Director at Qualsys said, "We spend very little of our User Group meetings presenting our own ideas.  We aim to give our customers free reign to criticise, discuss and even argue their ideas and suggestions.  With the help of our customers, the forum has provided us with fantastic creative input into the development of our EQMS suite of applications.  It helps us see our products and services from a customer perspective and prioritise our development effort."

Many of the the ideas from last year's meeting were incorporated into Qualsys' development Roadmap and are now features of the generic product.  An excellent example of this is the extension of 'Right Click' functionality in key screens.  At last year's meeting a number of attendees pointed out that in some parts of their systems they need several mouse-clicks to access their administrative tools.  A single 'Right Click' now presents a list of these tools for instant access.

"I am sure that this year's event will provide direction for our ongoing development plans and ensure we continue to develop powerful, user-friendly solutions." said Bendall.
